We have been proudly serving the Abingtons for over 50 years!
In 1956 residents of the Town of Chinchilla met and decided to form a fire department to protect their homes and businesses. Today the Chinchilla Hose Company proudly protects the residents and visitors to South Abington Township with Fire, Rescue and Emergency Medical services protection.
From humble beginnings with a single Ward LaFrance Pumper to our current Fleet of 12 Vehicles, the Chinchilla Hose Company has grown with the times and the needs of the township.
Volunteers are ALWAYS needed to help with Fire Fighting, Emergency Medical Services, Driving, Fire Police, Administrative, Fund Raising, and any combination of the above. If you have the time to give, we have the place for you to give it, and help give back to the community at the same time!.
Chinchilla Hose Company of South Abington Township is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
